Position indicator in low frequency oscillators is now optional (can be disabled from the right-click menu).

Moving an equalizer band now shows all basic parameters about the band.

Added 'Mute until ALC' option to MCompare, which lets you avoid bursts of high loudness signals if you compare signals with extreme differences in loudness.

Normalize feature in all analyzers now performs at most +60dB gain increase, which is better when analyzing audio with silent segments.

Infinite averaging analyzer now ignores places with level below -80dB (spectrally).

Fix: MXXX could crash after saving an active preset.

Fix: Restarting playback could make some equalizers send automation.

Fix: MDynamics, MMultiBandDynamics and MSpectralDynamics custom shape didn't update when modulated unless a different parameter has been touched.

Fix: Loading equalizer with more bands than before could cause some nonexistent bands left loaded.

Fix: Preset trigger control parameters didn't do anything.

Fix: Pasting a modulator didn't update the mod button visual state immediately.

Fix: Favourites in directory selectors didn't work if desktop or any other standard directory has been selected before.

Thanks a lot for this great work to R2R. Until the Update 9.10 (With inside MXXX-Plugin)the R2R patch is working good. Since 9.11 Update there is something changed and the patch dont work anymore. But in this way everyone can use this great software (with update 9.10), given to us for testing by R2R. Thanks really a lot for all the great work for the whole music community.

Electroacoustics Toolbox is a modularized, multi-channel dynamic signal analyzer and data acquisition platform for Mac. It brings powerful new tools to the Macintosh platform for multi-channel, audio-band data acquisition and real-time analysis of electrical, acoustical, and electroacoustic signals and systems. It enables precise measurements of acoustic quantities, such as equivalent and time-weighted sound levels, as well as acoustic and electroacoustic systems, such as listening rooms and loudspeakers. Electroacoustics Toolbox is a project-based application, which allows you to configure and save project files. Projects may contain one or more tools available in the toolbox, along with any captured data associated with those tools. Electroacoustics Toolbox allows for the creation of an arbitrary number of tools of a certain type, or tools of different types. For example, a project may contain an oscilloscope, two FFT analyzers, and two signal generators. The oscilloscope and FFT analyzers may each simultaneously analyze multiple input channels of a single device. However, there is no requirement that all tools must work with the same device. The Toolbox also offers advanced capabilities for configuring input and output device parameters and assigning labels, units, and transducer sensitivities to individual input and output channels.

Powerful offline analysis tools are available, including spectrum, spectrogram and wavelet analysis. Real-time analyzers such as K-System level meters, phase correlation meters and spectrum analyzers allow you to monitor your audio output visually in real time during playback.

Freq-Balancer analyzes the frequency content of an audio signal and automatically applies an equalizer that evens out the frequency balance towards a curve found on many commercial tracks. When Freq-Balancer analyses audio, it measures the audios frequency content over a period of time. It splits the incoming audio signal into 7 frequency bands. Then it measures and compares the audio levels within each band. Finally it applies EQ to compensate for any uneven frequency balance.

Typical applications:

The Freq-Balancer is mainly designed for mastering, but it can be used when mixing down songs, as well on the separate tracks. It can be used for analyze purposes only, or for both analyzes and correction. It can be helpful if you don't have high quality studio monitors, or if your room has no acoustic treatment, and the tracks you produce tend to have uneven frequency response.

Tips for mastering:

For best detection you must find the loudest and busiest part in the mix and then click 'Learn”. Try to avoid esses in vocals as it can make the result of analysis less accurate. To avoid it, you can loop part of the audio that doesn't contain esses. You will achieve best results if you insert this plugin after a compressor or limiter and then add the final master limiter after it, because too much dynamics could produce high spikes in some frequencies which will affect analysis. In most cases default settings will work well.
