'Hello!
I am contacting you to seek some guidance regarding a challenge that I am facing at work. I have one mainframe source file with multiple record layouts within the same file. Each record layout can have dozens of redefines at the group and field level. Each record layout can have occurs and/or occurs depending on data elements. Each data element can be a group of fields or a single field.
I need to have this file easily read and loaded by Informatica PowerCenter.Any suggestions/ideas will be highly appreciated.

Jan 18, 2010 - I need to have this file easily read and loaded by Informatica PowerCenter. I guess, Normalizer in VSAM mode will do import of COBOL files. 'Hi, Whilw we are working with VSAM Sources in Informatica, As the souce file conatins multiple occurrences for different fileds (for eg field1 conatisn 9 occurs, field2 contains 5 occurs) the mapping becomes in valid? Harvest moon back to nature walkthrough. Foresee garage door opener manual.
